The blessed month of Ramadan is here again. And this being our seventh consecutive Ramadan spent in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran. Like all Muslims elsewhere, the Iranian Muslims will also be observing the holy month which will begin on Tuesday, 2nd of August.

On this auspicious occasion, I wish to greet all my relatives, Iranian and Muslim friends and readers, a happy and blessed Ramadan kareem, and may we all be continuously blessed with long life and good health, abundant wealth/rezeki, happiness and prosperity and security under the divine guidance of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala...amin ya Rabbal a'lamin...

Our Spiritual Class...

Salaam,

Since early this year, we have the opportunity to enhance our Islamic religious knowledge and awareness, many thanks to the kind initiative of our dear Malaysian colleagues who had kindly arranged for an able Ustaz from Indonesia to teach and enlighten us with spiritual information and consciousness, as well as a question and answer sessions. The once-a-week class on every Wednesday or Thursday held at the Malaysian residence is open to all interested ladies as well as their family members. Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.

Wassalam.

Our Dubai Rendezvous...

Salaam,

Despite the typically very warm summer weather, our trip to Dubai this month was nonetheless even more exciting than previously. For it was meant to be our meeting point with our equally thrilled and excited daughter who was on her flight from home en route to Tehran to be with us for the rest of her summer vacation.

Hence spending beautiful moments of our quality family times over breakfast, lunch and dining at our favorite cafes and familiar eating places, and of course some 'shop-around' in as far as our tiring pairs of legs could take us around...

Dinner Reception @ Abu Dhabi...

Salaam,

The festive mood was still very much in the air when we arrived in Dubai yesterday. Upon arriving late afternoon, we eventually made our one-and-a-half hour drive to Abu Dhabi to fulfil the kind invitation from our ambassador to the UAE and Datin in the evening's Royal birthday dinner reception...celebrating yet another auspicious national occasion in the beautiful capital city.

Many thanks to our gracious host and hostess for the kind gesture, splendid food, for meeting and making new friends and acquaintances from the Emirates, and most of all, thank you for sharing the great, joyful and memorable evening.
