On 14 August 2007, it was my turn again to host the Asian Ladies group monthly luncheon at the residence. It was also an extra-special occasion to bid farewell and goodbye to our dear colleague, Madam Im Onn Yong, spouse of the Korean Ambassador to Iran. Madam Onn Yong had been so close with us, a very charming lady and ever so obliging to render her assistance and to share her experiences with us, either in Asian group or the wider DLG circle. She is now trailing her husband who had been assigned to Hanoi. We have been missing her ever since and most of all, her special skill and creativity at preparing delectable Korean kimchi, which I had been able to imitate and learn from her. Thank you so much Mdm Onn Yong for your kindness and precious friendship which we deeply valued and will cherished forever. With our best wishes always.
