Salaam,

The first ASEAN Ladies Circle's (ALC) Food and Handicraft Festival 2010 was successfully held at Wisma Indonesia in Nobonyad Square, Pasdaran, Tehran on Friday 12th March 2010. Apart from the six ASEAN members and communities, it was also participated by China, Bangladesh, the UN-WFP and a few other local companies and sponsors of the event.

The response was overwhelming. It was a sold out when the organising committee, the ALC, had to reprint additional tickets for the unexpectedly huge numbers of attendance.

Wide selection of foods and handicrafts from ASEAN and participating countries were displayed and for sale during the one day festival. It was indeed a remarkable and memorable occasion for the ALC, its first major event for the new year. Well done ALC...
