Salaam,Friday morning, July 16th...Arriving at the airport more than three hours well before departure time, suddenly our 11.40 outgoing flight EK972 to Dubai was announced to have been experiencing some technical delay...initially to depart instead at 3.15pm. Well, it was not until 4.00pm that we were eventually allowed to board the aircraft, arriving safe and sound at Dubai International airport two hours later, in time to catch our 9.00pm Royal Brunei flight later in the evening. So there we were...a seven-hour long anxious and sleepless hold-up at the airport terminal. Nothing much everyone could do except perhaps visualising and imagining how exciting it would have been to spend such a long and wasted time to roam about at Dubai airport terminal instead ...
