After the quite hectic days of early November, this month once again we were honored with the arrival and presence of several guests from Brunei on an official trip to Iran. Last Saturday, we welcomed the arrival of our distinguished Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, accompanied by two senior female officials, to attend a three-day OIC organised-Conference on Islamic Women's Role in Development. A day earlier, two Brunei officials from the Ministry of Education also arrived in the capital to participate in a four-day ISESCO's ICT workshop.
And last evening we had the pleasure of welcoming and entertaining them all to dinner at the residence. A very simple gathering though but so meaningful for the few of us living far away from home to have the opportunity of getting to know, mingling and catching up with our dear and fellow Bruneians.
Thank you very much Datin, and thank you indeed to all of our new found acquaintances for your great company and for kindly and graciously accepting our invitation. May we meet and cross each other's path again back home, InsyaAllah, here's wishing you all a pleasant and safe journey home with our every best wishes always.
Wassalam.
