A farewell luncheon we hosted for one of our very close and humble friends from Bosnia-Hezegovina, Madam Medhija and her husband Amb Senahid Bristric. Held at Taj Mahal Indian restaurant on 29 May 2008. Madam Medhija left Tehran a few days later with her husband back to Sarajevo to take up teaching at Sarajevo university. With our best wishes always to both of you, and may Allah bless you all, amin.

Asean ambassadors and spouses hosted a farewell dinner for their 'dean' Ambassador Suwit Saicheua and Madam Chuanpit, who left Tehran in November 2007 for their new posting in Rabat, Morocco. It was again held at Da Vinci restaurant on 15 November 2007. Another year and another good friend had left us...Mdm Chuanpit was one of the few Asean trailing spouses who had been very close and friendly during our two and a half years together in this country... Best wishes to you mdm Chuanpit and Amb...sawaddee kha and khrup khun margh kha...
