Salaam,
Time to say goodbye…It’s never been easy to say goodbye especially to good and closest of friends.
The hardest part of any friendship is when it is time to say goodbye. As much as we might like things to stay the same, change is an inevitable part of our diplomatic life…our life as trailing spouses. The universe may seem huge and the rift between friends on opposite side of the world may seem a great distance. There are many devices available, with which we can communicate, but even without these devices there is a secret that only true friends know, and it is this. All mountains and valleys in the world cannot separate friends whose hearts are as one.
Life is a journey that needs to be travelled. But I know someday we’ll meet and cross each other’s paths once again, InsyaAllah…
Friends come, friends go, but a true friend is always there to watch you grow. A friend like you…makes the world a warmer place…
Four years on here, I have seen many of those good and closest friends of ours have come and go. Images of our togetherness, joy, laughter and sadness captured during their farewell functions, vividly tell it all… These are just some of them…
Agar ruzi be Iran-e umadin, bayad pish e ma biyayin…khodahafez…!!
Wassalaam.
