Summer Break 2009...(1)

Arrival at Heathrow..and heading on to the west...
Salaam,
Last June, we had the opportunity to spend our brief two-week vacation in Cardiff and London, to visit our son who had just completed his study at UWIC in Cardiff, Wales. Departing from Tehran via Dubai on Emirate flight EK976 and 029, we landed safely at London Heathrow at around 2.00pm on Wednesday 24th June, then taking the National Express coach heading toward the West via the M4 highway. Arriving in Cardiff at 7.30pm and picked up by our son at the Cardiff Central Station.
Today's post is the first in a series of our tales of our vacation and will include some of the images taken on our way to our second visit to spend a worthwhile quality time with the whole family in the beautiful Welsh city of Cardiff.
Wassalam.

look forward to this English favorite meal...

Bristol city square

conspicuous landmark...a bridge on main river to Wales

shopping for grocery at Cardiff's Tesco

one of the things we've been craving for...soft English bread

our first dinner...or supper rather, at Malefant St.
