This month's DLG Coffee Morning was graciously hosted by the Embassy of Croatia at the Ambassador's residence in Pasdaran. It was inaugurated with a welcoming speech from the Ambassador himself, HE Prof Dr Esad Prohic.
The highlight of the event was the selling exhibition of Croatian handmade crystal, as well as display of other Croatian handicrafts and paintings.
Today's coffee morning was perhaps DLG's last one before the year ends, and also my first since arriving back in Tehran. It was well attended by a good numbers of DLG members.
Another significant agenda of the day was the appointment by popular acclamation, of Madam Amira Youssef, wife of the new Egyptian Ambassador, as the new DLG's president for the forthcoming session.
As the end of the year approaches, I wish to take this opportunity to wish all my fellow DLG members of Tehran a happy and prosperous New Year 2010.
