Saying 'Zai jian' to Pan Nihua...

Salaam,
Hosted a dinner party yesterday (Sunday) evening at Elysee Restaurant, Tandis Center, to say good bye to our dear Chinese colleague, Madame Pan Nihua and her husband, the esteemed Ambassador Xie Xiaoyan, who will be leaving Tehran shortly upon completion of his tour of duty in Iran.
The farewell dinner was jointly organised by our other ASEAN partners and their spouses, as well as our Korean friend, hence called the ASEAN Plus Three dinner (except for the Japanese ambassador who regretfully was not in town in the evening to complete the Plus 3).
Madame Pan and her husband has been one of our close acquaintances and best of friends during the last three years here. She has been an active member in our Asian Ladies Group as well as in the larger Diplomatic Ladies circle of Tehran.
Madame Pan...we will never forget the joy and memorable moments we spent together in Tehran. You have given us the greatest gift of all...the gift of a warm and longstanding friendship which we will certainly cherish forever.
So, in bidding you goodbye, lets hope that our paths would cross each other again in the future, with all our best wishes, fill with happiness, health and success always in your future endeavour.
So my dear friend...zai jian...zui lianghao de zhuyuan...zhu ni hao yun...xie xie....
Wassalam.
