Asean ambassadors and spouses hosted a farewell dinner for two of their 'plus 3' partners, Ambassador Liu Zhentang of China and spouse, and Ambassador Hideaki Domichi of Japan. Both were completing their tenures in Iran in 2007. Amb Liu Zhentang served in Iran from 2002 until 2007, while Amb Domichi served from 2004 until 2007. The dinner was held at Da Vinci Italian restaurant, Esteghlal hotel on 4 October 2007. Both Mdm Liu and Mdm Noriko Domichi were among the best of friends in Tehran. Mdm Liu is joining his hubby on retirement back home, while Mdm Noriko is trailing her hubby in his new post in Delhi. I wish them all the best wishes always.

Bpk Basri and Ibu completed their tenure in Iran in 2006 after serving in this country since 2003. A very fatherly, motherly figures, loving and examplary couple to emulate in every aspects of diplomatic life. We will miss you ibu Rasdiana, especially your humbleness, kindness, your nice company, but most of all your motherly friendship and endless humors and laughters... Wishing you all the best wishes, success and happiness and may Allah bless you and family always...Amin.
