Jomeh Bazaar...

Jomeh Bazaar main entrance...
Salaam,
It has been quite a while that we have not been to one of the two main bazaars in Tehran. So this morning we decided to re-visit the place early in the morning.
The Jomeh Bazaar or Friday Market is a big popular flea market in the city. Located along the east side of the Joumbouri Avenue, the bazaar is being held on the three floors of a multi-storey car park in the city centre on every Friday from 9am to 5pm. Friday (and Thursday) being the 'Saturday' of Iranian weekends.
Just about everything - antique, old and not so old, and junk - can be found on display and sold at this bazaar. Old radios, clothing, glassware, books, paintings, musical instruments, antiques, you name it, the list just goes on.
So, if you are a lover of all things antique, the Jomeh bazaar is just the perfect place to start hunting for that old, and not-so-old items you've been looking for.
Wassalam.
