The January Diplomatic Ladies Group (DLG) of Tehran's Coffee Morning was graciously hosted today by our dear friend, Madame Shamsa Ali Abbas, the esteemed spouse of the Kenyan Ambassador, at her residence in Africa/Jordan Avenue.
The program began with a opening remark and announcements by Madame Amira Youssef, the new DLG President, followed by a welcoming speech from the host.
The highlight of the morning was an African Fashion Show participated by members of the African Group and their family members in Tehran, displaying colorful assortments of African traditional and contemporary dresses and fashions.
An excellent event ushering in the New Year and a great opportunity for all members and newcomers to mingle and get acquainted with each other again after the long holiday season.
With our deepest thanks and appreciation Mdm Shmasa, for the most entertaining and well-attended gathering and most of all, the great Kenyan hospitality.
