Mosafer d' Eid-ul Fitr...(2006)

Salaam,
The year 2006 was our second year to celebrate Hari Raya in Tehran. As usual, the day began with the Eid prayer at the chancery of the Indonesian Embassy, followed by the usual gathering of friends and families to a sumptuous Hari Raya feast hosted by the CDA. A couple of days later, we also hosted our own "open house" at the old residence at Iraj Street, Africa Avenue.

A few days later, we were also invited by our Malaysian colleague and friends to their Hari Raya open house at the Malaysian Embassy in Niavaran... Had the opportunity to also meet and mingle with some Malaysian expats and students in Iran...besides having a really great time savouring the delectable Malaysian cuisine...reminds me of our good old time in KL's long list of eateries and menus...Thanks Datin.
